Moscow’s Digital Twin project receives international ISOCARP award

The “Digital Twin” project, which allows to model the development of a city taking into account all parameters, received an award from the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP).

The Digital Twin is based on a photogrammetric model of the city and an archive of panoramas of the streets of Moscow. The visual picture is complemented by detailed characteristics of buildings and structures using BIM technologies (information modeling). It allows to take into account the maximum set of parameters during forecasting and calculate various scenarios.

The ISOCARP Awards for Excellence were established in 2005 and encourage urban and regional planning projects.
