InformInvestGroup to push British Telecom solutions on the Russian market

Global telecommunications services company British Telecom (BT) and Moscow headquartered IT holding InformInvestGroup signed a cooperation agreement to adapt and promote BT’s services on the Russian and CIS markets.

The agreement covers BT’s offers for software applications and cloud computing as well as solutions tailored for financial markets such as BT Trading System and BT Radianz.

InformInvestGroup will also promote a new solution to prevent breakdowns on oil and gas pipelines and other infrastructure. This technology, which uses optical sensor cables, was designed by BT in partnership with Fotech, a UK based manufacturer of distributed acoustic fiber optic sensors.

InformInvestGroup’s holdings include over 20 companies specializing in system integration, high-tech product manufacturing, and telecommunication solutions. The holding’s companies employ over 1,500 people.
