International startup accelerator launches first program in Moscow

NUMA Moscow, an internationally-oriented startup accelerator in Moscow, will launch its first 6-month startup acceleration program on October, 29.

Announced in March 2015, NUMA Moscow has been selecting a dozen of projects from all other Russia since June.

NUMA announces that more than 300 mentors and experts from Russia and Europe will participate in the program, working closely with the selected startups – from fine-tuning their business plan to approaching first clients or investors. NUMA’s in-house experts will also bring advice in the fields of business development, legal and financial issues.

Finally, every startup will have the opportunity to spend part of the program at NUMA Paris, which the accelerator presents as “a first step in their international expansion.”

NUMA’s Russian startups will thus get an opportunity meet players from the French and European innovation communities, and start prospecting new leads.

Startups may participate in NUMA’s international program at no charge. What’s more, each of them will receive up to €25,000 in exchange for a 10% stake.

A leading Paris-based tech innovation hub, NUMA is expanding globally with plans to develop activities in no fewer than 15 countries by 2019. Accelerators in Moscow and Bengalore have already been launched, in addition to activities in Silicon Valley.

The Oct. 29 event will gather NUMA’s partners and friends in the Russian and French startup and venture community. Also attending will be a dozen of top innovation executives from large French corporations (Orange, AXA, Leroy Merlin, and others). To attend the event and enjoy this unique networking opportunity, please register here at no charge.
