NUMA Moscow launches its 3rd acceleration program (application deadline: Dec. 4)

NUMA Moscow, an internationally-oriented startup accelerator in Moscow, will launch its third acceleration program in early 2018. Startups are invited to apply until December 4, 2017.

The four-month program targets globally-oriented early-stage startups with a strong team and a working prototype or MVP in the following fields: energy, transportation, food, health and education, among others.

Each submitted project will be evaluated by a board of at least three experts. These experts will come up with a short-list of the best startups to pitch at semi-finals and finals.

More than 300 local and international mentors will share their expertise and help startups develop their strategy, roadmap, as well as business and financial models.

The program aims to help startups structure their operations in order to attract investment.

Focused on business growth and scaling, the agenda will cover such topics as business development, teamwork and execution. It will also include one-on-one sessions with growth and product experts.

Finally, startups will have the opportunity to spend the final part of the program in Paris, where they will benefit from attending Viva Technology, one of the biggest startup and corporate events in Europe, discovering the European startup ecosystem and meeting with potential clients and investors.

NUMA Moscow will receive a 10% stake in all participating startups in an exchange for participation in the acceleration program.

Startups will receive 1.4 million rubles ($24,200 at the current exchange rate), twice more than the previous year.

A leading Paris-based tech innovation hub, NUMA is expanding globally with plans to develop activities in no fewer than 15 countries by 2019. Accelerators in Moscow, Bangalore, Casablanca, Barcelona, Mexico, Montpellier, Toulouse, Berlin and New York have already been launched, in addition to activities in Silicon Valley.
