Sberbank starts testing cash delivery by drone

Last week Sberbank, the national savings bank, launched a pilot program which could see cash delivered by drone, reports The Moscow Times.

The first drone-assisted delivery took place on Thursday, said Lev Khasis, the first deputy chairman of the bank’s board.

Announcing the program in May, CEO German Gref warned that “a lot of questions” still needed to be answered before the technology could be put into general use.
