Facebook and Global App Testing introduce Russia’s first “Testathon” (Oct. 8-9)

Facebook and Global App Testing have teamed up to launch Russia’s first ever Testathon – a hackathon for testers – on October 8 and 9 in Moscow and St. Petersburg, respectively.

Testathons aim to bring together the best testers in the world to learn from best practice, network and win prizes whilst trying to break real apps.

Fifty of the best testers are expected to compete to win a range of prizes, including iPhones, Samsung phones, tablets, drones, headphones, etc.

Here’s the video from a previous Testathon run in cooperation with the Spotify team in Sweden:

Global App Testing is a crowdsourced app testing company based in London. They are venture funded and were founded in 2013 by Ronald Cummings-John and Owais Peer.
