American Councils invites Russian startups to international edtech accelerator (deadline: Sept. 16)

Washington, D.C. – American Councils for International Education is pleased to announce the opening of our application for global education technology startups interested in exploring collaborations and accessing U.S. innovation networks.

American Councils welcomes applications from Russia and neighboring countries. Our organization has a history of implementing successful programs with participating startups from these countries in the field of education technology, biomedical technology, and engineering. Past edtech participants included startups working in digital content distribution for schools, educational videoconferencing, and edtech media creation.

Through working visits to the United States and customized virtual programs, American Councils Innovation connects selected international startups to U.S. mentors, business development experts, potential partners, researchers, and investors. American Councils offers startups access to a network of universities, business incubators, and customized programs to increase startups’ understanding of the education technology market.

Startups working on solutions for education are eligible to participate. We encourage applications from startups with a solid minimum viable product looking to scale in the global market. We welcome applications from highperforming startup teams with a global outlook currently working in K-12, universities, and professional development.
