Russian inventor builds a real version of the city scanner drone from Half-Life 2

Valentin Demchenko, a video blogger who lives in Saratov, Russia, has created a real-life version of the police  drone that can be seen in the computer game “Half-Life 2.”

Demchenko says the project took two months to complete. He made the 80 cm-long, 55 cm-high device from scratch using carbon fiber and expanded polystyrene as well as flight controller DJI Naza-M Lite (without GPS) and AX-2810Q-750KV Brushless Quadcopter Motor

The ‘city scanner’ can stay in the air for up to 11 minutes.
