1C fully acquires CRM solution provider Megaplan

Moscow-based asset management company Sferiq has sold its remaining blocking stake (27.06%) in Megaplan, a Russian corporate CRM solution provider, to 1C.

A leading Russian enterprise software publisher, 1C now controls 99% of Megaplan, reports financial news portal Mergers.ru, citing official sources.

1C had acquired a 51% stake in Megaplan in 2012, three years after Sferiq (previously known as IQ One) had made an initial investment in the company.

Megaplan is a major player on the Russian SaaS scene, with an estimated 25% market share, according to Mergers.ru. Its solutions are designed to address a variety of corporate needs, from collaborative work, to document storage, to sales, finances and warehousing processes.

Sferiq’s portfolio encompasses a varierty of fields, from IT, to construction, to agriculture, to real estate and art. Recently Rostelecom acquired a 75% stake in IQ’Men, a big data company from Sferiq’s portfolio. Sferiq also sold e-commerce site e96.ru, to Tehnosila, following the failure of its plans to merge several e-commerce properties.
