KupiVIP launches cross-border e-commerce offer in Kazakhstan

KupiVIP, a major Russian online flash-sales company also operating in Kazakhstan, has extended its cross-border offer to this Central Asian country.

Now KupiVIP’s Kazakhstani customers may purchase heavily-discounted items directly from “one thousand European brands,” according to the company. These brands include Tod’s, Lacoste, Furla, Escada and many other popular ones from Italy, France, the UK, Germany and other countries.

Orders will be fulfilled and delivered within up to three weeks, says KupiVIP.

KupiVIP launched its cross-border e-commerce offer in Russia as early as 2012. In the current crisis conditions, this business is thriving as Russian consumers are more attracted than ever by discounted offers. This activity account for no less than 25% of the group’s turnover, KupiVIP CEO Vladimir Kholyaznikov recently said in a recent interview.

Meanwhile, several western online retailers saw their sales to Russia stagnate or fall over the past year, as analyzed in a recent EWDN industry report.
