Huawei launches online sales in Russia

One of China’s largest manufacturers of smartphones and tablets, Huawei, has opened an online store in Russia. Online sales began last week, and purchases can be paid for via cash on delivery and cash on delivery, bank card, Yandex.Money, WebMoney or other electronic payment systems.

Huawei’s online store delivers all over Russia, provides technical support and guarantees its products. The product assortment includes smartphones, tablets, modems/routers and accessories.

Huawei’s online store was opened in conjunction with and supported by Aristos Retail, a Russian company which is Huawei’s local logistics partner. As the online reseller of Huawei’s products, Aristos Retail will fulfill all orders placed via this online store or phone in Russia.

The opening of the Huawei online store illustrates the growing interest of foreign companies in the Russian market.

“Russia continues to remain one of the most important, dynamic and rapidly emerging markets around the world for international companies,” said Huan Tszunbo, General Director of Huawei Device in Russia and the CIS.

The CIS is one of the priority regions for Huawei. In 1997, the company opened a regional office for the CIS countries, which is headquartered in Moscow.

In September, Meridian Group, an Indian manufacturer of budget smartphones and tablets under the Fly brand, opened an official online store in Russia.
