LeWeb invites Russian Internet startups and investors to “plot the future” in Paris

Europe’s leading Internet conference on innovation and entrepreneurship, LeWeb, hopes to gather even more Russian attendees to “imagine the next 10 years” together on its 10th anniversary.

“LeWeb is where revolutionaries gather to plot the future” according to the weekly paper The Economist. It has indeed become the European platform for success for entrepreneurs over the past few years.

Created by French serial web entrepreneurs Géraldine and Loïc LeMeur in 2003, LeWeb went from a couple of hundred attendees in its first year to more than 5,000 participants from the five continents in 2012. An important contingent of Russians is expected to attend since the Russian Internet, mobile and digital TV markets are quickly growing.

Startups and web entrepreneurs come to meet customers, investors and the press, as LeWeb gives them unparalleled visibility to promote their ideas, products and solutions. Therefore, many of them find the right partners, helping to kick-start or accelerate their businesses.

LeWeb is also the place to share and access cutting-edge content from top industry players. Leaders and visionaries reveal the next ideas for business, whether during the conferences with premium speakers and more casual meetings or at the Startup Competition.

LeWeb is also the place to be for investors. This three-day international conference allows investors not only to identify and meet brilliant startups and potential business partners, but also to determine the key industry trends that will inspire their next best investment.

Cutting-edge content is made available to everyone thanks to the visionaries and industry players attending the event.

The event’s popularity is thus quickly growing, as its more than 150,000 followers on Twitter and almost 22,000 fans on Facebook indicate. Google, Microsoft and Paypal sponsored LeWeb last year.

The 2013 edition will be held in partnership with Yandex, the Russian search giant, and the leading Russian business daily, Kommersant, with a 30-minute round-table dedicated to doing business in Russia.
