The technopark of Akademgorodok will host three new incubators by the end of the year, dedicated to information technologies, biotechnologies and scientific instruments, respectively.
The regional authorities also announced recently their intention to create a world-class innovation center in Akademgorodok with 16 R&D centers, in addition to the four centers already present.
Located twenty miles from Novosibirsk, Akademgorodok is a major academic and scientific hub. It includes as many as 35 research institutes as well as a number of universities. Its technopark counts over 180 companies.
